6" Kindle by Millet on amazon.com Apr 28, 2012
I purchased a couple of this for loved ones and it is great for the price. I have the other 6" screen with the keyboard and I like that one better only because this one feels a little to small in my hands. I am used to reading books which are obviously ...

It's a book reader by Rons1941 on cnet.com Nov 17, 2011
As my opening summary said - It's a book reader and it does that very well. My wife plays some games but it's not so hot at that. I'd buy it again / no question

Love the Kindle 2011. Not much I can say outside of it being a great e-ink device that is light and fits perfect with my daily belongings. My biggest complaints some from the aluminum backing and casing. I prefer a rubber or 'book-back' style device ...

No Parental Controls by Wesley A. Krause on amazon.com Apr 16, 2012
This is a great item BUT unlike the Kindle Fire, there are no parental control options. I purchased a pair of them for my grandsons' reading counts credits at school. Since the device is so portable, they can take it with them and read anywhere. I ...

confused by Jean on amazon.com Apr 16, 2012
I am confused! Your ads don't mention what is necessary to give Kindle life like an adapter to charge it. However, I thought I was okay with computer access. Not so--it appears I need WiFi capability which I do not have. Nevertheless I was sure with ...

Cumbersome and Hard to read... by Robert J Pike on amazon.com Apr 14, 2012

Bottom line - the choice between this basic Kindle, the K3 Keyboard, the Touch, and the Fire is really a personal preference...ii) If you have Kindle 3 and don't really need an upgrade, I recommend sticking with the K3, it's a better device than this one in terms of features...My only small point of dissatisfaction is that there are so few good covers and accessories right now (though there ARE some available that look pretty good...

Not much I can say outside of it being a great e-ink device that is light and fits perfect with my daily belongings...I got a 2011 Kindle when it came out to see if I would make the switch, and while I would still recommend it to most users, I ended up returning mine...Also I made a full review of it at my site if you want to check it out: http://www.dreamintech.net/2011/11/first-impressions-on-the-kindle-2011...
