I have this installed in the kitchen primarily for streaming radio, recipes, TED, and a picture frame (using the screen saver, linked to a network server...The only shortcomings I've come across after a few months are (1) the WiFi works on the 2.4 GHz band, not 5 GHz (so the microwave oven can cause interference), and (2) the screen isn't quite as bright as it could be - but good enough...Performance is fine for the applications I use (e.g., Google Chrome), and I can't attest to how it would handle heavy-duty apps...
