For accurate sound reproductions these BIC DV62si speakers are the bottom of the pit. They are not accurate at reproducing the voice and midrange tones and are very loud on the tweeter end of the sound spectrum. I returned these to Amazon.com the next day after trying them when delivered.

Bought them in Aug. Never used them until yestoday. As soon as I turned the amplifier on, the tweeter of one of the pair was dead. I was more than disappointed and desperate, 'cause I am with them now in China, and it is impossible to take them back to the States to change for a new pair!

So if you're considering buying new speakers to replace old ones or are buying them for the first time, I would highly recommend these great quality speakers...Since putting together dear dad's system, I've recommended the DV62si's to four friends who use them in HT surround systems...I will not be needing a sub, they're that good...
