Weak lamp by A. Sanchez on amazon.com May 26, 2010
It does say that the room needs to be dark, but i never thought that it needed to be that dark. I have barely used this projector because the room conditions are not ideal, instead, i end up borrowing the company's.

The size of the unit, the portability, the fact that the LED is RGB and not White...This mini projector does a good job here, coming with 3LED (RGB) technology which produces much richer colors than LCD technology...Also, 100 ANSI lumens are enough to display good pictures up to a size of 80 inches...

Some of these devices boast pretty decent widescreen displays too, but with the Joybee GP1 mini projector you can carry an 80in widescreen display around in your handbag...Billed as being small enough to fit into the palm of your hand, the GP1 is about the same size as a couple of rounds of sandwiches...Taking a look at the specs, it’s clear we’re not looking at a high-end projector here...At the rear there are only three connectors: two inputs and an audio output...

Part of BenQ's Joybee range of portable products, the GP1 is more of a micro than a pico projector – although the official name for the format is 'palm projector...Unlike the smaller models, there's no battery power option with the GP1...Load up a standard USB memory stick with the content of your choice, plug it in here, and you're ready to display it to the world - although it would have been good to see a memory card option too...Even with just 100 ANSI lumens the projector is completely convincing in overcast daylight, and looks very good indeed in subdued light...
