Great entry HT projector by danielduck on newegg.com Feb 10, 2009
My girlfriend bought this PJ for me, and to be honest I was nervous about the fact that it is an LCD over a DLP. After my first movie I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't consider going back to a plasma/(non-pj)LCD for movie watching again. If this is ...

Nice, but had a problem. by EHall on newegg.com Jul 10, 2008
I'm hoping to be able to come back and change my rating. I'm sure it's just a bad LCD chip or something, but regardless...I can't use it since it's on its way back to California =(

BenQ W1100 - DLP projector - Compare prices reviews user opinions - Shopper.com
Also the perception of picture was stunning, as if the movies had come to life and was much livelier, definitely different from LCD projectors...There are some additional features such as picture in picture and onboard speakers which are surprisingly good...This is definitely one of or the brightest and with that you will be able to fight off ambient light and also be able to throw your images at much longer ranges for those such as me who need a minimum of 14 feet of throw distance...

The term Full HD refers to a native resolution of 1920x1080, the highest resolution HD currently available...After doing probably way too much research, I settled on the W1100 projector...I will need to make a call to service about this, but I am sure it will be treated as well as the first time.Bottom Line, if this has the features you are looking for, and it is at the price you are hoping to pay...

BenQ W1100 Home Cinema Projector: W1100 at BEST PRICE
I have been using the BenQ W1100 for about two weeks and I am still amazed by the quality of the video image. One draw back, if you can believe, to my liking the videos come out too bright, the whites are almost blinding if the room is dark...But if you travel with your projector understand that the BenQ W1100 is a big machine.Just a comment on NCIX: I ordered the BenQ Thursday at 14:00 hour...I had initially picked up the Epson 8350 because a friend recommended me to go for it...The W1100 seems to win in the category of horse power for lumen output and image size...

BenQ W1100 review - Projector - Trusted Reviews
Based on the same chassis as BenQ’s excellent W1200, the markedly cheaper W1100 has serious ‘shelf appeal...However, while it’s certainly good value and a strong option for rooms with some ambient light to contend with, its performance ultimately falls a greater distance short of that of the W1200 than expected...So we’re intrigued to say the least to find ourselves sat down today with another new BenQ model, the W1100, that seems to have been based on the same chassis, but which costs only £828...This makes it a potentially hugely attractive proposition - especially as one of the main differences between the W1100 and W1200 is that the cheaper model doesn’t have a frame interpolation system sported by the W1200, which video purists probably wouldn’t use anyway...Aesthetically the W1100 is identical to the W1200...
