I used this projector for an art installation to project on rear projection 7D513 acrylic. The projector doesn't project any color when you have black areas, which is fantastic as there are no annoying borders around you video. I also oriented it sideways ...

What I like the most is that it gives a HUGE screen, and very bright (3m wide projecting at only 3.5m distance), and if you are watching some low quality video (e.g. youtube 360p, or online TV), you can decrease the size of the screen with you remote ...
