Great player! by Sabrina on yahoo.com Oct 2, 2006
I love my Zen player. I have not had any problems with it, except distortion of sound because of the headphone jack. But this is a common problem with Mp3 players and it can be fixed very easily. It's way better than an Ipod, in my opinion. Thoug ... ...

poor audio jack by donnaeri on cnet.com Apr 9, 2007
I agree with a lot of people with how the audio jack gets screwy after 1 year. i dropped it once and the battery cover is loose. i barely used it, and the sound gets messed up whenever i shift. this is unfortunate, b/c when using better earbuds, the sound ...

Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: Creative Zen Micro 5 GB MP3 Player Silver
The Micro comes in with good quality ear buds, a hard shell case that accepts adapters to help it serve as a belt clip or a desk stand...I am not a big fan of ear buds, but these are pretty good and the cord doubles as the FM radio antenna...Creative has excellent music software, a very responsive tech support group (they are quick on firmware updates, and make them publicly available), and usually a good array of accessories...

I have had for 30 days and was about to give a great recommendation until the headphone jack started having problems where the sound goes in and out in one ear...LOUSY SOLUTION for an bad and defective design...Thats a great price when you consider that the Ipod will cost a good $100 for the replacement, plus it must be sent to Apple to be repaired...

Good battery life and functionality It froze and didnt work again As you can see from my previous review I had bought two of these creative zen MP3 players and both of them froze...I bought this as a sort of two fingers up to the IPOD crowd, mentioned in so many other zen reviews, other then the slightly cheaper Really easy to use, good sound quality They all seem to break...The problem was exactly the same on both of the players, after about 3 months of fairly regualar good size memory, stylish, recoring function fiddly to use, The Creative Zen Micro Pink is a real contender for the best MP3 player...

Creative Zen Micro 5GB MP3 Player (5GB Internal Hard Drive) MP3 Player Review | PCWorld
The only real draw back is that the battery life sucks and if you don't have the outlet piece you have to charge it via it's usb cable, but other than that this player is pretty good...I called customer support and they told me the hard drive was bad, and it would cost $122 to have them send me a new one...I would NOT recommend that anyone buy this, but if you do treat it like a TWO HUNDRED DOLLAR RAW EGG! Its creative, so the sound quality is amazing, and its very small...

overall better than a ipod mini no games Everything is better with an zen micro...In order for the ipod mini to have a voice recorder or a FM radio, you would have to buy it seperrately which overall cost more than 50 dollars...I'd recommend the iPod if you're a go-with-the-flow type of person; but if you really want what's better, the Zen Micro is best choice...

Overall, i would highly recommend it to anyone looking to buy an MP3 player in the 4-6 Gigabyte category, especially over the Ipod Nano and Ipod Mini...Good Audio playback, I like the numerous EQ presets and the 7 band EQ so I can set it for my Bose Headphones...Do not like their playlist system..very confusing to set up Overall better than IPOD and others in this category...

Attractive looks...Difficult controls...It took us a few goes before it would pause, which isn't good...It looks good and draws comparisons with Apple's Mini...All the good points aside, we can't help but keep coming back to the over-sensitive slider selection control......

Creative Zen Micro MP3 player Review: Powered by ConsumerGuide and HowStuffWorks
The 5GB model has an MSRP of $229.99, and the 6GB model has an MSRP of $249.99...The Zen Micro can even be used simply as a portable storage device to hold any type of computer file, although with such good music capabilities, it would be a shame not to use it for carrying around a host of tunes...The Zen Micro has a built-in FM tuner and is able to record directly from the FM tuner to the hard drive...

Creative Zen Micro 5GB review - Pocket-lint
Small, stylish and easy to use...Touch buttons vary in responsiveness depending on mode of player, No drag and drop for music...This means that keys lay flat, are easily kept clean, as well as not adding to the overall style of the unit...Also surprisingly for an MP3 player, the headphones supplied in the box also did a very good job...Music quality is very good with plenty of bass on the tracks we tested......
