Router by CWR "Power down" on amazon.com May 20, 2012
I travel a lot and find that using this router in my hotel room that only has a ethernet cable is great for my portable items such as my iPhone, iPad, and computer. I have an ultra thin computer that doesn't have a ethernet port (has a USB converter ...

Does more than expected. by M. Fers on amazon.com May 25, 2012
Even though I've built numerous computers, I never had any Wifi device and no Wifi experience, so when I decided to add Wifi to my house so my wife could use the Ipad 3 she just received by the school where she works, I had to create something she could ...

Small and efficient by jhcpa on amazon.com Apr 13, 2012
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this? ) I've never been a fan of D-Links regular routers, but this pocket router worked very well for me. I set it once as an actual router and once as an access point. Both were very ...

Excellent Travel router - good range and functionality by Steve/Mason on amazon.com Aug 12, 2011
I purchased this router because I had a previous "G" class D-Link travel router and it worked fairly well. I wanted the range available with "N" class routers. This one did not disappoint. It works great and services several devices at the same time. ...

Great Device - D Link reliability by J. Lark on amazon.com Mar 10, 2011
Bought a couple of these a few months ago for use on work computers that were Ethernet capable only...problem is that most hotels are wireless only. In bridge/adapter mode, these convert the wireless signal to Ethernet and problem was solved. Also use ...

Total junk. by pfreeman on amazon.com Jul 1, 2012
I TOTALLY WASTED 9+ hours trying to get this to work, in either Router or Access Point mode, with deteriorating success. I am not a novice and have configured many routers and access points from other vendors without any prior trouble. This would not ...

DAP 1350 Dlink "Pocket Router" by UtahJim on amazon.com Jun 20, 2012

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this? ) This D-Link pocket router has three modes (functions): 1. router, 2. access point, 3. wi-fi client. There is a small hardware switch you must use manually to set the mode; some ...

Good idea, but horrible documentation, interface. by Michael Bridge on amazon.com Nov 22, 2011
I struggled for two hours to get this working in Wireless Client mode under Windows 7 and Linux, and ultimately the problem was the horrible documentation. Had it told me how to configure my machine *after* configuring the 1350, I could have had this ...

Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: D-Link DAP-1350 Wireless-N Pocket Router
I wouldn't recommend this device unless you need to switch between these modes with the same device, but that feature has good uses...This works out of the box with no configuration, but I'd recommend connecting to the wired port with a static ip to connect to the 192.168.1.50 and changing the name/setting up security...This is good for taking a hotel with a poor or no wireless connection but a wired one, and still using your iPhone/Android wifi for example...
