I looked for many satelite speakers before deciding on these. The Mythos series have great reviews from hi-fi magazines and the sound has not disappointed me. I'm not an audiophile but I do notice the difference between low and high quality speakers. ...

Phenominal sound. I am not impressed with the other DT offerings, but interestingly, these are the best sounding surrounds I have ever heard - better than B&W and others much more expensive. I recommend getting 3 voice-matched front speakers for your HT, then these for the surrounds.

I would definitely recommend the gem xls to my friends.also vanns has been great to deal with...I would recommend you buy the separate wall mounts which allow you to aim the speakers...For me, they have more than enough bass output for good sound...
