This unit does not have a SD memory slot. This limits the type of maps available to use. This is not explained to well with the product description. Garmin is too proprietary and I wasted a lot of time learning this.

Appears that 60CSx and PN 20 are the most highly recommended units for these purposes...Also concerned with previously mentioned problems with PN 20 unit, although based on Delorme's support you do not sound very concerned, any additional comments...With that said, the concerns you mention about the PN-20 are valid...There are a few bugs, it is occasionally slow to respond, and the battery life isn't as good as the Garmin devices...
