Unit did not work -- would not boot up. Spent couple hours on-line to find out hard drive was defective. Our kids were really disappointed. Will try exchanging -- but had to re-pack --- never as easy as unpacking! So don't pitch those boxes! Hope this story has a happy ending.....

Much faster and sweeter than the Vista machine it replaced...The instructions say to unpack the wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, and the USB wireless receiver, and plug the USB stick into the back of the machine before turning it on...It took a phone call to HP support to figure this out, since I was reluctant to turn it on w/o having the receiver for the keyboard...
