"Amazing. Best laptop I've ever bought." by timd2324 on cnet.com Jun 3, 2010
All in all, this is the most amazing laptop I've bought, considering the size. It was able to cram in some serious stuff in there, and feels snappy. However, I would recommend the Envy 17 now that it has come out, CNET does not appear to have review yet, ...

Frankly, I could have done without the two-toned color scheme and the dotted etching on the palmrest, but neither detracts from the overall beautiful design of the Envy 13...And if you think I am just bad with my fingers, a number of people tried the trackpad and found the same problem...Not only are viewing angles good, but colors just pop and are incredibly bright...

Maximum PC | HP Envy 13 Review
Sylish, magnesium-alloy frame; excellent LED display; jet-fast benchmark performance....Expensive; mediocre battery life; no optical drive....Still, it lacks an optical drive, which the Toshiba R600 manages to accommodate, weighs a pound more than the R600, and doesn't have as good of a battery life, all of which are important considerations in an ultraportable notebook...Don't say "That's because windows is so bad"; compare a Mac running Windows and a PC running...
