I bought this printer hoping upgrading to the next generation of hp laserjets would increase my productivity, but overall the firmware issue and slow envelope printing have really slowed me down. Thinking of returning it.

So far has been very good purchase and if as good as the last midsize HP purchased we will get a good 5 years of solid daily use from this printer...It was pretty simple to do if you know what you are doing but I don't recommend you try this at home kids unless you have adult supervision...They simply wear out too quickly (typically 40,000 pg) due to mechanical issues and keeping all four KYMC cartridges in good order is too time consuming...

Fast...High-quality text...Reasonably high paper capacity for a small office or workgroup....Few paper handling options....This isn't to say that the P3015dn is a lightweight when it comes to paper handling...The P3015dn scores reasonably well for output quality overall, but particularly well for text...Its text quality is near the top of the range for monochrome lasers, and particularly good for fast mono lasers, which tend to give up a little text quality...
