For people actually giving this machine good reviews, they must not send many faxes at all...good little machine for the price...easy to install/use...prints clear copies...i wonder if the other reveiwer only used the "starter" cartridge that came with the printer b/c they will get fewer copies..also, we lightened the copy to use less ink...Not the best buy for the money! I cannot recommend HP M1212nf any greater than POOR in performance...

I had to replace an older LJ 1000 due to Windows 7 and the lack of a driver from HP...It has a nice feature that if you don't use a separate fax line and may answer a fax call, dial 123 and it picks up...Updated driver required for most thin-print clients.I always use HP products...
