It did a good job even on auto! Very light weight and I don't think would stand up to a lot of abuse - but the controls are easy and don't feel weak...The video quality is quite good - not up to the standard of higher level models, but nevertheless very acceptable...I think this is better than an internal hard drive - no searching to find where your video is stored - it's all on your card! If you are looking for a very inexpensive little camcorder, I would highly recommend this one...
