2 months and after about 6 uses this camcorder died. It will not power on nor will any hook-ups work. Have tried contacting JVC and they DONOT respond to emails. Very dissapointed in JVC have been a long time customer of their products.........but not anymore.

The most important disadvantage is that the date/time stamp will not accompany the video to ANY software, not even the recommended Everio software...JVC customer service cannot/will not recommend a software program you can buy to accomplish the date/time stamp because the camara itself will not send the data...I like the picture quality is it the best no but for doing home video's it a good quality HD camcorder...
