Buy 'em. Love 'em. Be glad. by Tony Kindred on amazon.com May 27, 2012
A few years ago I purchased a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 8.2 speakers based on a WhatHiFi review and was very pleased, especially at the clearance price of $150 a pair. As funds permitted I decided it was time for an upgrade and turned once again to ...

Outstaning bookshelf surround speakers by Benjamin M. on vanns.com Feb 7, 2012
As a long time KEF product owner, I am well versed in their various product lines. I own a pair of the IQ30s, IQ10s and a pair of the XQ 10s. The Kef Q300 is a night and day difference between my other sets. The Q300 perform better in highs with the ...

Nice upgrade to my system by David Clevenger "kicks92" on amazon.com May 26, 2012
I haven't had these long enough to break in completely but I am very happy with them so far. I decided a couple months ago I need to upgrade my speakers. So I started with the Subwoofer and decided on a DefTech SC6000. The I got a DefTech center speaker. ...

really nice bookend speakers by heeler on amazon.com Nov 17, 2011
I'm not an audiophile but I do really enjoy these speakers. I think they have a real warmth to them especially with vocals but also for their size have good base performance as well. I purchased them to replace a 15 year old pair of KEF bookend speakers ...

Great midrange by S. Palmer on amazon.com May 19, 2011
I was looking for a pair of bookshelf speakers in the $500-700 range and narrowed my search down to the Monitor Audio Silver RX-1 and KEF Q300, which I found based on the review from "What? Hi Fi." I decided to take a chance on the KEF due to it's uni-Q ...

Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: KEF Q300CH Bookshelf Speaker (Pair Cherry)
I do recommend a sub for larger rooms, but no sub is probably ok for small a room (10x12ft...Good bass reproduction depends on the recording- older CDs from the 80s and early 90s weren't equalized very well and they tend to be bass shy...Anything released since the late 90s is usually good...

KEF Q300 bookshelf speakers 2-way bookshelf speaker pair | Vanns.com
I own a pair of the IQ30s, IQ10s and a pair of the XQ 10s...You would be hard pressed to find a better sounding pair in the same price range...If you are in the market for some new bookshelf speakers and these are in your price range, I HIGHLY recommend these speakers...

Monitor audio RX2 or Kef Q300? | whathifi.com
The RX2's build, fit, finish and presentation also adds the icing on an exceedingly good cake...Although the Q300's are impressive i've found the A-S500 to sound upfront with these speakers...I demo'd the M/A RX2's, Dynaudio DM 2/6's and 2/7's as well as the KEF Q300's and the M/A RX1's when looking to build a 2nd system with my NAD C355BEE amp and Arcam DiVA CD72 CDP...The M/A RX2's were superb as were the DM2/7's but the overall soundstage of the RX2's and their massive bass-weight but well timed and detailed midrange and treble led the pack fairly quickly...

KEF Q300 initial impression - Axiom Message Boards
The Axioms cabinets are nicer IMO although the KEF conectors looks nicer since they were made of metal and gold plated...It sounds like you got a good deal on them...In my years of listening to speakers, I've found that most good ones sound more similar than not...

The Emotiva Lounge - New KEF Q300 speakers
I wasn't sure if I had made the right decision so I went out to a local high end dealer and had a moment with the B&W 685 bookshelf speakers that are in the same class as these KEF Q300...The KEFs do not require this and they don't recommend that kind of placement for optimal sound...I don't claim to be any kind of AV expert or Audiophile but I have noticed I have been listening to more and more music since I hooked up the KEF Q300...I've only read of one guy using the Q300 in "Full Range" and one of his speakers had a seal burst while watching a movie...

KEF Q300 5.1 review from the experts at whathifi.com
Outstanding sound in every regard; well made; a lot of cabinet for your cash...Centre and rear speakers will be demanding to install for many buyers...Style-orientated compact speakers are easier to install and more discreet to live with than larger conventional designs, but often that convenience comes at a cost to sound quality per pound, especially if musicality is high on your agenda...The wise speaker manufacturer attempts to cover both bases...The Q300...
