OUTSTANDING by L. D. Coughlin "LARRYBIGBIRD" on amazon.com Oct 13, 2011
I AGREE WITH 100 PERCENT,WITH THE OTHER REVIEWER OF THE RB-81 II BUT THESE SPEAKERS ALSO TAKE A GOOD 100 HRS. TO BREAK IN OR BURN IN. PLUS THESE SPEAKERS REALLY CRY FOR YOU TO USE A FULLY INTERGRATED TUBE AMP. 10 TO 25 WATTS AT LEAST. BUT DONT GET ME ...

Great sensitivity, great sound by Phil D on crutchfield.com Feb 18, 2012
At a sensitivity of 97 db, you won't need a big amp to make these speakers sound live. And live is hown they can sound, clear with good high frequency dispersion. As with all bass reflex (ported) speakers, bass drops quickly below the port frequency, ...

Great Speakers by Peter D. on vanns.com Apr 9, 2011

I own the Hsu designed BIC Acoustech HT-75 towers, bought back in 2005 and still enjoy them a lot and though they offer a similar overall sound, they don't have the full-frequency range and detail of the 81 II's...For those that don't have room for a floorstander, which I would recommend for larger rooms, these may be just what you want both for casual or critical listening...Enjoy!
