i received this printer set it up and it was completely broken within a month. it now no longer feeds paper, constantly tells me to reattach the rear panel, and has an ink cartridge jam. i would not wish this headache on any one.

Not only do the photos print incredibly well, but also I could print the PDFs on normal paper without streaks - it actually didn't look bad though the color was more muted and not as vibrant when the same was printed on photo paper...I purchased this printer for $220 with free shipping, so overall it is a very economical printer...I would recommend this printer to anyone who is thinking of a new printer...

As for the scanner part, it works okay, but the resolution is not very good...To be honest I was a little nervous at first, I'm a big believer in checking reviews before I buy and I was i reading a bunch of bad reviews regarding this particular model in terms of mechanical failed and print quality...It prints as fast as it advertises, (Rough guess, I didn't sit there with a stop watch, and people that do need to get out more.) It isn't slow but if speed is what you're going for, perhaps inkjet overall isn't what you should consider...
