OUTSTANDING item - better than expected by Mike on staples.com Jan 24, 2012
This is a terrific frame - highly underrated price-wise for its features. Can play pictures off of a USB stick, giving tremendous capacity options (though it is a bit slow if playing off USB). BUT ... when playing from the frame, it has great capacity ...

Great gift, looks nice by Jacx "J.C." on amazon.com Dec 10, 2011
Got this as a gift for someone as an upgrade to the one they have had for years. I pre loaded it with photos and to make sure it works. No computer needed. Will take cards and has internal memory. Pictures look great and easy to use menus. It's barely ...

Bright and beautiful by Sus E Q on staples.com Jun 28, 2011
I love that the display is so bright. Reminds me of looking at kodachrome slides from the 1950's. It's easy to add and delete photos by using a USB drive. I love it.

Very pleased - clear picture, by Helen on staples.com Mar 15, 2011
I am very please with the picture quality and its simplicity to use. I previously had a digital frame with all the extras that I never used, so this suits me very well. I like the simple frame without the mat. I highly recommend it. esecially for the clarity of the picture.

Kodak P85 digital picture frame by J.P. on staples.com Feb 16, 2011
Bought two of these, one for personal use and one for my parents. Love it! I turn it on daily and love seeing my pics flip by. The 3 different picture displays are useful. I prefer the pan mode but my parents like the slower mode. Why did I wait so long to get one.

Headache by Kevin & Linda "K.S." on amazon.com May 11, 2012
I bought this for my girlfriend for Valentines Day at Target, by mid-March it had broken. I used the manual feature for on/off times and it did not turn on one day. When I tried to use the power button to turn it on nothing happened. Dealt with customer ...

poor controls by photo watcher on staples.com Dec 28, 2011
it is awkward trying to push controls in the back and look at the screen in front to see what your doing

random mode does not work by Peter on amazon.com Apr 28, 2012
I own the P85 and bought the P86 for my parents. The P86 has a matte screen vs. the glossy screen of the P85. It is a matter of taste but the P85 looks better to my eyes. The P86 showed too much noise of images that I know well and that are not so bad. ...

Will not display my pictures by jakedar on amazon.com Dec 8, 2011
I bought this item as a gift for family members. Unfortunately you cannot add a memory card and send it on its way. It requires the device is set up each time electrical power is restored. What the device really wants to do is show you advertisements ...

Product performance is just average. by tiger on staples.com Dec 1, 2010

Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: Kodak P86 8-Inch Digital Picture Frame - Black
Too bad the settings don't get saved to memory! Power usage - 4.9 W (On mode); 0.2 W (Off mode) - cheaper than most (even energy efficient) lightbulbs Displaying images - can be done off of USB, SD/SDHC, MMC, Memory Stick...Overall, I am very happy with this item, and as said before, will give it as a gift and keeping one...I think the pros clearly outweigh the cons here! ADDENDUM: I found a freeware, Amok Exif, that allows renaming image files based on the date the pictures were taken...
