While the monitor has HDMI, DVI-D and D-Sub (i.e., VGA) connectors, I was somewhat surprised to find that (only) a VGA cable came with the unit - at least in the US. I can't speak critically as to which interface is a better choice, but I passed on ...

The base is of such poor quality, I've already bought a dual-monitor VESA mounting clamp...I needed short extenders for my battery so they didn't block multiple power sockets on the back Probably not a great buy at $230 but a good value at $160 Great display...Nice unit; would buy it again, and I'd recommend it to others...
