I got this monitor because I do a bit of photo editing and wanted a monitor with good color reproduction, and $200 for an decent-sized IPS LED monitor was hard to pass up...If a little bit of bleedthrough isn't going to annoy you, and you want a monitor with good color, this is for you...otherwise, if it will annoy you, and/or your monitor is going to be displaying dark scenes a lot that might bring out the bleedthough, it might be a good idea to look for a nicer monitor...
