It is pretty much the only 4:3 IPS monitor available these days. It is highly adjustable as well. Mine has 1 dead pixel, but they are small enough that I don't really notice it and that sort of thing normally would bother me. LG's policy is 3-5 dead pixels ...

This turned out to be a flaw free monitor! Image looks great in DVI mode! Same quality as the LG L200ME-BF 20 inch model I bought last year which also has a DVI connector! Also after further review, I want to give The LG L 1942 PE-BS 19 inch 5:4 monitor 5 stars also! All 3 are great monitors!

I have purchased several of these in the past and have had very good luck with them. They were on 24/7 (with image/content) for over 5 years before they started failing. Saw some referbs on Overstock, and snatched up three!

build quality , compatibility , features , image quality , value for money It is pretty much the only 4:3 IPS monitor available these days...LG's policy is 3-5 dead pixels before replacing...The price is the same as what I paid for a TN panel several years ago of a smaller size so this seems like a decent value and the picture quality is very nice...

softMCCS Vista64 Intel G45 and LG L2000CP problem
softMCCS (2.2.0.809) cannot detect my monitor (LG L2000CP on DVI) DDC/CI capabilities...Actually I installed everything (LG inf file and G45 updates) AFTER first negative results with softMCCS/mControl (in hope that these things may help...Of course I will try what you suggested, not at the moment though - needs some other work to do...BTW, it may be possible that LG L2000CP has no support fot DDC/CI after all...

I've been looking at this monitor online (the LG L2000CP...They claim to have an S-IPS panel and the going price is only about $450 - which would be a great price for an S-IPS if the thing is any good...I found this thread through Google while looking for some reviews about this monitor, and thought I'd post what I found since this one's in the first few pages...To conclude this up for future 'LG L2000CP Review' searches, this is not a rare find, but a crippled IPS panel...
