This is nice laptop and I am satisfied with its performance...Ran into that issue when we tried to put in a 9mm SSD- a simple retooling of the SSD fixed that, but for the general consumer if you're going to change out drives, but sure you purchase a 7mm drive...Nice laptop for the price...I traded for the X1 with i7, but can not say anything except a nice unit...
