The former doesn't offer nearly as good performance but it runs cooler and requires significantly less power, prolonging your battery life by as much as an hour...The speakers are surprisingly good for a laptop, with sufficient oomph to give you a good experience when listening to music or movies, at least in a reasonably quiet room...The keyboard is quite good but I do have some minor complaints...

I highly recommend this beast, as it is a complete steal and selling like crazy...As with most other lap tops the speakers aren't the best, though they are not bad, and I would like it if the view area was a bit wider...the price was still very good even BEFORE the sale! let it be known that this thing certainly does get hot fast under stress, so you're going to need a fan pad...
