Just received this modem today. Everyone says it won't work with Century Link service. Read the slip in the box about getting the settings from your ISP even if they say it is not supported. Hooked it up put in the CD and followed the instructions. It ...

Works by BlackLab on amazon.com May 8, 2012
Product works just as it should. Make sure you get all of the settings off of your modem supplied from ISP. If you call them with questions about specific settings they will not tell them to you.

Horrible results by Duane Ferguson on amazon.com Sep 30, 2011
I've found that I get about 2 to 4 hours of uninterrupted internet access before I have to reset this product. It's maddening to be in the middle of something and have your internet access suddenly drop out. Streaming movies, playing games or working ...

I bought the Cisco Linksys X2000 to replace a 3-year-old Netopia 3347 gateway because its modem part had begun to fail. The Netopia's wi-fi signal was full strength throughout the 2- story house and garden. But the Linksys's wi-fi signal is weak one ...
