Good product by Farouk S. Beshai on amazon.com Jun 26, 2012
This modem/router was very easy to install just by following the instructions of the installation CD. It's sure superior to AT&T 2 wire modem/ router. I just installed this product yesterday and it's working just fine. At this time, I could not tell ...

Excellent solid product, Highly Recommended by DaveSF on newegg.com Mar 24, 2011
I've used used lots of linksys, apple, and other routers and this one has proven solid, not one issue. Easy to setup via web interface. No drop-outs, running 24/7 since day 1. Note: I initially had lots of problems with Internet that were due to ...

Review of Netgear DGN3500 by gipsymagpie on reviewcentre.com Feb 13, 2010
The DGN3500 router has been a long time coming. It is full speed Wireless-N, gigabit wired network and ADSL BT modem in one. The modem looks great in sleek black and is about double the size of a DG834G. It also has a handy USB port for sharing a USB ...

Great upgrade from the AT and T DSL modem. by bin01123 on cnet.com Jan 16, 2011
I really enjoy this product. It is a great upgrade from the standard modem given by DSL companies.

Simplicity itself - and it works great! by S. Lionel on amazon.com Sep 30, 2011
I bought the Netgear DGN3500 to replace the DSL modem I got from my ISP and the old router I had attached to it. The installation was fast and simple, and I had no trouble "registering" the router with my ISP. I have low-end service so I can't really ...

Nowhere near claimed Gigabit speeds - constantly drops connections, Netgear says "Sorry... by 10 year Tech on amazon.com Apr 25, 2012
This is just a bad product. Frequently drops connections, drops wireless printers, needs constant rebooting and just a thorn in any network. Hardwired transfer tests using Gigabit laptop to Gigabit NAS showed minimal improvement over previous 10/100 ...

It won't last by N/A on newegg.com Jul 7, 2012
This wasn't a cheap router when I bought it. Got about a year of service out of it, but it's acting flaky now. Dropping ADSL connections, wifi is spotty and needs to be reset to get to connect, the some parts of interface won't load (status?). Definitely will not buy another Netgear modem product.

Review of Netgear DGN3500 by Guest on reviewcentre.com Jul 25, 2010
This is absolute junk! It is unable to hold a stable connection...Only recently has firmware been released by Netgear that allows the device to attempt to reconnect, however it is still unable to hold a stable connection. Meaning that you have to wait ...

Droppy connection and subpar firmware by kkinder21 on cnet.com Jun 5, 2011
An alternative DSL modem with a few extra features, but too many bugs to be useful.

Think Twice... by djrth on newegg.com May 14, 2012
Even though the modem/routers AT&T gives to customers are garbage, the units are somewhat stable (before dying within a year). This unit - while easy to setup - is not nearly as stable. The modem continuously drops connection, though reestablishes a signal ...

Effective at distance from Router to laptop Struggling to think of any...After wasting basically half a day on the phone to my UK ADSL ISP plus another half day monitoring the constant dropping connections, we pulled out the Netgear and returned it as it is not fit for purose...I needed the gigabit routing features hence the upgrade...

Netgear DGN3500 Wireless Modem Router Review
I have been waiting for a Netgear Gigabit modem/router for ages, and at last one has been released...Overall the Netgear DGN3500 seems a very good wireless modem router...Speed is good, although I would have thought that signal strength could be better, but that could be down to my wanting great signal strength when I am in my observatory in the garden, it could also be that my wireless router usb adaptor needs some new drivers...

Netgear RangeMax DGN3500 review | Expert Reviews
Netgear's DGN3500 is a sleek looking but expensive ADSL router with Gigabit Ethernet and a built in USB storage server...The DGN3500's USB port can be used to share a USB hard disk across your network as a Windows SMB share, or as a local or remote FTP or HTTP site...The router's throughput, while not the fastest around, was consistently good in tests using our Centrino 2 laptop, achieving a relatively poor 32.3Mbit/s at 1m, 38.7Mbit/s at 10m and 22Mbit/s at 20m...If you need Gigabit Ethernet and USB storage server features, the DGN3500 is an excellent choice, with good throughput and an accessible interface...
