impressive router by T. W. Morden on amazon.com Jul 8, 2012
After one month of use, I am truly impressed with the quality of this router. I previously used a top of the line DLink, but this router seems to reach further, run faster, and cause fewer glitches with other network devices than any previous models. ...

WNDR-4500 is AMAZING by acemonster on newegg.com Jul 1, 2012
Firmware: V1.0.0.70_1.0.18 Do not upgrade from this firmware! .112 is still buggy. DD-WRT in alpha release. 2.4ghz Radio supported, but they are working on 5ghz currently. This router is in the league of the Asus N66u and the Cisco EA4500. But, because ...

Fantastic Router by MattyBoy79 on cnet.com Jan 9, 2012
The router is very easy to set up with little to no skill to connect. Even the security password to access securely is a easy to remember series of words that make random letters and numbers seem like a thing of the past. Most of all the range is best ...

It works! by Attention To Detail on amazon.com Jun 25, 2012

Stopped working less than 10 minutes after installation by Fshad on amazon.com Jun 9, 2012
First thing I noticed when I got it working (wasn't as easy as any other router I've ever had, and I've easily had ten so far), was that it had a bar saying it had a firmware update. Unlike older ones, this one was a one click, updating itself. Fancy, ...

Slow wired upload speed by Egghead13 on newegg.com May 6, 2012
I use Verizon Fios with connection speeds of 35/35. With the WNDR3700 my speed tests using Speedtest.net are consistently at the rated speed. With the WNDR4500 I get 35 on the download but only 19 or 20 on the upload test. All with a wired connection. ...

NOT reliable looses internet connection by LGgeek "LGgeek" on amazon.com May 12, 2012
Don't buy this router, the features sound great but the basic function of having an internet connection doesn't work. The router will drop internet connection on a regular basis which results in no response on any device connected to it. I did a google ...

Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: Netgear WNDR4500 N900 Dual Band Gigabit Wireless Router
Its so fast, There are a very small number of wifi adapters that will even be able to utilize all 450mbps (most of them intel), so this router should remain top of the line for a good while...While some other reviews may say there is a fan inside, there isnt, its all passive cooled which is good, it means you wont have dust clogging up the inside of your router...Overall, this is a very expensive router, but you do get what you pay for...

Maximum PC | Netgear WNDR4500 Wi-Fi Router Review
So we’re happy to report that benchmarking Netgear’s new WNDR4500 left us grinning from ear to ear...The WNDR4500, for example, is also marketed as the N900, presumably because this is a dual-band model that’s capable of supporting three 150Mb/s spatial streams on both its 2.4- and 5GHz radios: Three times 150 equals 450, and 450 times two equal 900...The WNDR4500 is dramatically faster than the older WNDR3700, which supports only two spatial streams on each of its frequency bands...I haven't had very good luck with Netgear products...
