For an average size home or small office...........THIS IS THE ONE TO BUY!! by Terry on amazon.com Jun 10, 2012
We have purchased 4 wireless routers of the years and this was by far the easiest we have ever set-up/tested. Almost dummy proof. The ease of set up is worth the price alone.

Adapter works with my previous N300 router by MARK DELGADO on amazon.com Sep 4, 2011
I already bought an N300 router a while ago (version 2; this one is version 3), and to be honest I really only wanted the XAVP1000 adapter plug, as it works with the router I have. I wish Netgear would just sell the adapter so that I didn't have to buy ...

great product by R. Thompson on amazon.com Jul 18, 2011
This worked out of the box as billed. The interface for controlling the router is very comprehensive for the power user. I had no issue configuring wireless. Speed has been great on mix of wireless b and wireless n devices. Powerline has worked fine also. I would recommend this to a friend

Junk by littleefan on amazon.com May 30, 2012
Purchased on 2/21/12 and threw away on 5/28/2012. For whatever reason it would constantly drop the connection between the cable modem and the router. Got sick and tired of restarting both devices and rebooting my laptop each time I wanted to access the ...

Quit working after only three months. by greyhoundmomof1 on cnet.com Aug 10, 2011
A few days later, I received an email from Netgear, saying that my "free phone tech service" had expired, but if I wished, I could try to solve my problem with them via email. HAH! While I admit it is possible I got a "lemon" there is NO excuse for ...

DO NOT BUY NETGEAR! by FinancePro on amazon.com Apr 28, 2012
I have one piece of advice for those who need routers. STAY AWAY FROM NETGEAR! The N300 is a poor product and Netgear is a very poor company. I had difficulty setting this router up initially. After being on the telephone with technical support for ...

Products are garbage - So is Netgear by James Cooper "Conspicuous Consumer" on amazon.com Apr 22, 2012
If you want to experience a nightmare buying network equipment, Netgear is your brand. Having had a router for <2 months that went bad, I contacted NG and was told that if I wanted support, it would cost over $100. They had a registration date a year ...

Garbage by windowlicker on amazon.com Apr 8, 2012
I had the device for less than 2 days and the wireless will not turn back on. I spent over an hour on the phone with Netgear support and after all of that they said it would cost me $29 to ship it back and then they would ship me a replacement. The ...

Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: Netgear N300 Wireless Router with Built-In Powerline...
I would recommend this to a friend I was trying to get an accessory to go with my existing NETGEAR XAVB101 (powerlineAV 200 line) which has worked really well for me...Too bad that this product N300 Wireless Router with Built-In Powerline AV (WNXR2000), doesn't seem to work with "newer" powerline adapters...I'm guessing that the high rating from other reviewers indicates it was probably used to be a good product in its day...

NetGear N300 Wireless Router + Built-in Powerline AV WNXR2000 - Compare prices reviews...
This is a terrible product and the tech support is non-existent...The tech kept telling me to do the same thing over and over, which I did...In the end, I took the POS Netgear back to Best Buy and they gave me a full credit on a Linksys router...
