Excellent projector by ParamedicTodd on amazon.com Jun 30, 2012
Bought this as a travel projector. While definitely not a mini, it is small enough to fit in my backpack. This is bright enough to use in lit classrooms and I've never noticed any noise in my classrooms. I haven't tried it as a home theater, but for ...

Exceeded my Expectations! by Jason R Francis on amazon.com Apr 16, 2012
I live and work on a cruise ship and in my cabin I have blank wall in front of my bed. It got me thinking.. Why not get a projector to watch movies on that wall? Well I did a lot of research and I came to conclusion (falsely)that a projector this size ...

solid and better than expected by nick on amazon.com Jun 12, 2012
the only drawback is that i have to move it closer to my screen to get it to make a smaller size. but this is bright and works great as our basement TV at 120".

met every expectation and then some by patchill on amazon.com Feb 10, 2012
Researched so many projectors and finally settled on this one and I am so glad I did, this is my first projector and the picture is fantastic. Its more quiet then I thought it was going to be and even on eco mode it is very bright, so far I love it it ...

Optoma ML500 = Excellent! by Raymond L. Shepard on amazon.com Feb 7, 2012
Just set this thing up with a 16:9 120 inch screen and I am at the movies at home! The picture is excellent for 720p or 1080p (set mine up with my PS3), Bose cube speakers, what's not to like? It even looks good with the lights on! The price is right ...

Major disappointment. by James on amazon.com Jun 16, 2012
Those of you who are used to the sharp and bright quality of bulb based projectors will be disappointed. This projector is terrible and blurry. It changes focus as it heats up and I have to focus it about three time as it warms up and the fan turns on. ...

Ok for bedroom projections, not a business projector. by sbcadguy on newegg.com Jun 11, 2012
My office purchased this for use in small to medium size conference rooms for mainly power point projections. Unfortunately, our trials with this show that if you don't have a very dark room with a near perfect projection surface, then you don't get ...

Not Mac Compatible on USB by Wes on amazon.com Jun 2, 2012
Bought this to use with my Macbook Air. The USB display is not compatible with Macs. All over the outside of the packaging Optoma advertises the USB display but they don't tell you it doesn't work with Macs. They only reveal this golden tidbit of information ...

Unit started having problems after 3 weeks and died at day 31 by J. Harden "Ginoharden" on amazon.com May 29, 2012
Projector worked fine for first 3 weeks no problem. 4th week when kids were over it would go black for 3-5 seconds about 1-2 times per movie from Netflix. After about 4 days of slowly increasing time, unit now goes black for 5-10 seconds every 5 minutes ...

Want a new eyeglass prescription? Look no further. by mark twain "Arboreal Moleskin" on amazon.com Jun 21, 2012
I have been plowing the web on a regular basis following the feeding frenzy of the led projectors for a few years waiting for the right moment to get in the game. I now realize the moment I pushed "proceed to checkout" was not that right moment. This ...

Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: Optoma ML300 WXGA 300 Lumen Mobile LED Projector
It will also be with a cell phone camera so if it's not good enough I won't bother to upload it...The colors really pop and are saturated, but in a good way...A recommendation, tape a piece of cardboard (or something that doesn't look as cheap) to the ceiling in front of the light that shines on the wall you are pointing your projector at...

Short throw distance, must be in a very dark room with a perfect projection surface to get a decent image...Unfortunately, our trials with this show that if you don't have a very dark room with a near perfect projection surface, then you don't get a very good image...We ended up getting rid of this one and are looking for a better projector...
