I'm giving it five stars because I believe it is a good product, but it doesn't fit my needs as well as the upgraded model...Our house has spotty cell reception in some areas, so being able to position the base in a good reception area and answer the phone in the garage or basement is pretty nice...If this phone lasts like our previous Panasonic phones, I definitely expect a good 5+ years out of it...
