Stay away from this unit. If I could rate it zero stars I would. Hard to read buttons. Very non-intuitive and mediocre sound to start. Then the right speaker went out, then the MP3 input failed. You get what you pay for. I should have invested extra money and avoided this POS.

I guess the electrical engineers at pioneer didn't get the logistics right on this one. Even with professional installation the head unit will not turn on or work under any circumstance. Either that or it was a defective unit. Who knows, but you sort these things out before you put the product out.

I have always had good luck with Pioneer car stereos and especially like the FM tuners (Supertuner) for their ability to lock onto stations with a minimum of FM multipath effects (albeit with some reduction in channel separation at times as the tuner "blends" the channels to avoid noise...Overall, though, the combination of features for the Amazon price was tough to beat...After installation I turned it on, cranked it up, and couldn't believe how good it sounds compared to my old one...
