I'm not sure why Crutchfield sends the one with the breakaway piece to install an in dash EQ, because it doesn't look good, and not many companies offer dash EQs anymore...Overall, highly recommended! The 4300 is a very good value for its price, if not the best in its price range...The built-in EQ curves are good but I just use the bass, mid and treble tone controls and the Natural Sound EQ curve...
