DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNIT if you have an iPhone 3GS running 3.1 or better. The bluetooth phone connection will not work. This is a known issue since 3.1 was rolled out. Neither Apple nor Pioneer will resolve each pointing to the other as responsible.

My stock speakers sounded good with the factory head unit, but they sound like brand new high end speakers with the Pioneer...The pros VASTLY outweigh the cons, and the price is far below what I would expect for a unit with this feature set...overall, i'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend this if you're looking for bluetooth and ipod capabilities, without going into the DVD/Navi arena...
