we put these in our back covered patio, which is about 35x20' and open to back yard along one side. i have them on a splitter with another pair so they're only pulling 45 watts from my denon 1912. they rock. i like it loud and can't take these all the way.

To my surprise, they sounded like a very good mid fi home two channel speaker set, honestly I was not expecting to sound as good as they do right out of the box...Bass is good, but more of a mid range shiner, vocals sound very realistic, highs are nice and clean even through MP3...maybe 3 deg) I have them spaced about 8ft apart, this allows for good stereo sound at a short and long distance, that works with my area...
