When mounting it in the wall, it would be a good idea to add insulation above and below the speaker to prevent a "hollow" sound...Great product for the price and it is good for starting out with your home entertainment sound sytem...I was satisfied with the sound of my previous speakers, the 8inch is made with the same care and materials and sounds as good...
