A 300 DPI black and white scan took 14 seconds over my Gigabit network switch which is pretty good...As for the bad, I wasn't able to automatically connect to the printer from my Linux (Ubuntu) server as it couldn't find a proper driver...Overall I'm giving this 4 of 5 stars...
