I did need to tweak the judder and blur reduction settings so movies didn't lose their depth of field, but overall this TV is amazing...I would highly recommend this to anyone! When I was at the store I looked at the ES8000 also, but honestly I couldn't see a difference in PQ...Only bad note, the gesture control doesn't really work (but I didn't care about that feature...oh that the whole thing with Amazon VOD still stinks, but hey I think this is the best TV you can buy for under $3000...
