i got this camera for $150 with free shipping from Amazon. It is a really good little camera. The 70x is ridiculous! Takes still shots pretty well too. This is a great camera for some recreational shooting. I would not recommend it if you are looking to do any professional cinematography.

I purchased it for the price figuring how bad could it be. As it is today's technology it has to be better than my older cameras. Not so. Really poor video and still quality. I returned it the next day, paid $100 more and got the HDRCX190 and other than it not having a touch screen - it is GREAT!
