Very easy setup. I have multi-room amplifiers connected to it, as this replaced my legacy hi end Sony. Noticed there is no amp pre-out, but I connected the tape-out to my pre-amps.

This is a great receiver for the price. All of the specs are accurate and overall the receiver is just what I would expect from Sony...nothing but quality. I would buy this product or similar products again (if I ever wanted to add surround sound to another room).

The design is somewhat good, somewhat bad...I'm sure these are good to have, but it's just very confusing to deal with when you might rarely use any of these (which was nice previously when they were part of the physical buttons on the unit (or even menu options) on previous models...I would have made some changes to it (7 RCA inputs but only 2 Optical inputs?), but overall it fit my needs...
