Overall Good product by John Doe on amazon.com May 29, 2012
Purchased this unit to replace my failed ActionTec 5000PK (port forwarding ceased working). Also nice step up to wireless N. I spent some time on tech support chat with CenturyLink prior to purchase to ensure it would work. Arrived promptly and worked ...

Easy setup : very reliable. by Pseal814 on cnet.com Mar 13, 2012
I purchased this TP-Link modem router after my previous D-link modem packed it in. I'm amazed at the speed and reliability. I no longer have frequent drop outs, and the connection is very reliable. The set up was easy and connecting wireless devices a ...

Solved my problems by Ronald F. Anderson on amazon.com Jun 22, 2012
I was having all sorts of problems with my old dsl modem and knew I needed a new one. After reading the reviews on this one, I decided to try it. I could not be more pleased. Once I set it up all of the issues I was having disappeared. I recommend this one.

Works like a charm. Great product. by Gerald L. Reiner on amazon.com Jun 8, 2012
Read many reviews and decided on this modem/router. It works like a charm and has never dropped me off the internet. The range is all I had hoped for. Would buy again, and again, and again.

Buying a new router/modem can be a nightmare. It's not bad enough that they are somewhat expensive but they vary greatly in quality. Based on the ratings left previously on Amazon, I bought this router for my home. I am thoroughly impressed. It has ...

Product was returned by Gerald G. Roetzer on amazon.com May 21, 2012
Product was returned for credit. I really don't know what the problem was with the unit. It may have been a manufacturing problem initially. I'm sure that not all of this product works the same.

Not reliable for VPN by Gregg Coffman on amazon.com Mar 6, 2012
This is a nice little ADSL router, but not really built for VPN. The tunnel times out after an hour and has to reconnect, so if you have a backup job that takes more than an hour, the time out will destroy your backup job. I tried to increase the time ...

Horrible Tech Support by B. Butler "bmbutler" on amazon.com Sep 14, 2011
Finally resolved internet connection issue with Centurylink. Quite simple to resolve, but took talking to four techs before problem found (thanks, Tim!!). Once we got that part working, I could not find anywhere to setup wireless. Call TP-Link. Horrible!!! ...

Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: TP-Link WL RT TD-W8960N 300M WL-N
Luckily, I found this while searching the internet, since the router had very good reviews from just about everyone who has tried on their system...I've had it for only a month but so far so good...Stable internet is such a good feeling! This is a nice little ADSL router, but not really built for VPN...

Worked straight away No wireless/LAN dropouts Easy to setup - Good GUI Looks nice - Most TP-Link products follow the same color scheme (yes this matters to me...Runs a bit hot - I'm yet to find a modem/router that runs cool...This modem was recommended by a guy at the local computer shop and I was hesitant because I didn't known this brand...
