Reliable by Physicsmaster131 on newegg.com Apr 20, 2012
Stable for well over a year, rarely needs reset. Good overall throughput and service quality. Decent broadcast range. I was wary buying an "off-brand" (I had not used TP-Link before, mainly Netgear, TrendNET, Linksys, D-Link, etc.), but I am very thoroughly ...

This router works great and has excellent reception. The only problem I had was in setting it up. The directions in the box do not tell you to turn off your modem and leave it off until after you set everything up. I was unable to reach the product ...

Nice router Jul 9, 2008
Ready to rock just out of box and even don't need any setup process. Fast connection for my laptop and desktop and never lose signal. Works wonderful so far. Very Nice router and highly recommended.

If you don't need 802.11N, get this one. by N/A on newegg.com Mar 25, 2012
I had a Linksys G that was running DD-RT that got fried by lighting. I really did not use any of the features of the DD-RT firmware. It did however put out a good signal. I think this one puts out almost as strong a signal, plus it is much easier to ...

horrible router by Mikey on newegg.com Feb 2, 2011
i just got off the phone with tech support, after a 34 minute conversation she said that the router had some problems but that tp-link could not warranty it because it bought it last year?????? it isnt even 6 months old. do yourself a favor and spend a little more and get something that will last.

Real problem by radtek on newegg.com Nov 10, 2008
I realized my through-put was half of what it should be. Tested with encryption on&off, even plugged in cable to no avail. Unplugged router and plugged directly into my cable modem. Full bandwidth that I pay for restored. Retried wireless router. Back ...

Worked Great for a Month by derekb on newegg.com Apr 14, 2010
I called TP-Link's USA Customer Service only to find that I spent more time asking the tech to repeat himself because I couldn't understand him. After a frustrating 10 minutes, I ended the call and headed out to buy a new WiFi Router.

CompUSA.com | TL-WR541G | TP-Link TL-WR541G Wireless G Router
The stand is extremely unreliable (don't have to use it) and the whole unit feels pretty cheap, but as for what it actually does, it's loaded with software features and has extremely good range...It's cut out a couple times for random reasons, requiring me to physically unplug it and plug it back in to get it going again, but twice in several weeks isn't too bad...Very good coverage in house and beyond (rural location...
