Stopped playing DVDs after one week. Return policy allowed me to return ite with no problem and exchange for a different brand name.

I was very exited with all the features and the WiFi for under $80.00 but opening steaming services is very slow compare to the rest of my devices, plus after 60 days it started shutting down every 15min. plus it frizzes

Bottom line is it plays Blu-Ray and DVD disks fine, but the problem with my unit is when you pause the disk for more than a few minutes...Everything here is to be expected, nothing exceptional, nothing bad...Two stars because it does play Blu-Ray and DVD disks, but it's not a good buy! If you buy, save the box......

but the 2nd one started studdering in a few weeks...but last year - Bad portable 1TB drive, lasted 1 day - now 2 DVD players - Next eletronic purchase won't be Toshiba...DVD's spin fast and balance can be a problem with a lightweight player - and they all seem to be that light!
