This subwoofer has rounded out the surround sound experience for our family. It brings so much depth and fullness to movies. I can actually feel the vibration through the floor, across the room from the system and it makes movies more realistic. It is a great addition to the sound experience.

Velodyne has subwoofers in a higher price range, but for its class, the Impact-12 is as good as it gets...The Impact 12 does a good job, but I was spoiled with the DPS 12...Unfortunately, the DPS 12 is discontinued and the replacing model is the DEQ-12R, if the subs in that series compare to the DPS series I would recommend one of those over the Impact 12...
