Great frequency responce 38hz to 140hz +/- 3db, some larger units have a specification of 28 db on the low end but this is more than ample for those of us who are not super demanding (mlost people can not hear the differance). Their is more than enough ...

I just bought a house and had a room with surround speakers built into the ceiling, but needed left and right speakers and a good sub to go with my TV...It was pretty good with mid level music (jazz, classical and the like) if you kept the volume low to mid...Btw, the warranty on it is super as is the overall specifications...

A true winner in my book I hope velodyne takes a good look at this sub and builds on its bold looks and sound...I use the Mini in conjunction with two tiny bookshelves (Mirage Omnisat v2) and it does a very good job...If you just want good, clean sounding bass in a box that needs to hide well, the Impact-Mini's a winner...
