A Mercedes of Digital Projectors by L. S. Couch on amazon.com Jul 2, 2012
I was replacing an older projector used in a business environment. The ViewSonic Pro8200 offered a lot of features that I wanted -- mostly the HD/1080p level of projection, plus good sound capability. In all areas (except sound volume) this projector ...

Moldy projector by Xourque on newegg.com Nov 8, 2011
It's a great projector. I'm really not happy with NewEgg for doing this twice. What a waste of our time when we've been needing this projector for business purposes for over two weeks now. This is the first time I've ever had problems with NewEgg, and am not very happy.

Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: ViewSonic PRO8200 1080p DLP Home Theatre Projector
After two months of use, I feel I did not make a good choice...The good things of the Pro 8200 you read from the manufacturer are true and plenty to consider, but the extremely annoying horizontal juddering or shaking effect must also be considered...Both sites gave it a positive review and said that it was a good buy...

Great for home entertainment, View Sonic is a good brand with alot of expertise in the display field...Image quality is good, good value I purchased from newegg on 1/17/12 and on 5/15/12 it just stopped working...

Excellent colour fidelity > good connectivity > bright enough for a partially lit room > modest footprint...Limited motion resolution > noisy runner...The latest entrant in the increasingly crowded budget 1080p projector market, the ViewSonic Pro8200 has an impressive resumé...The vented sides that drag air across the light engine may give the Pro8200 a little bit of a 'fan heater' aesthetic, but overall it's a rather nice looking and well-built...
