i have the 3rd unit like this go bad on me. i sent it to vizio for exchange. it was received on 10-31-11. it still has not been sent to me. bet there is a over stock of refurbished units. to sell at this low price. but save your time and money to get a good unit that works.

Bottom line great product excellent price would recommend to any frugal 3D consumer:-) at first i was a little skeptical of the quality of vizio products because of price, however this is my 2nd blu ray device and i also now own a vizio 3d television...If you want it JUST to play Blu-rays then your good to go...Probably just a bad unit but not worth the hassle...

Yes two years is a good life time, however all we have done is fight with this piece of junk...I'd already thrown the box away, so I figured, like another reviewer posted, that it would be a good investment for when we do get a 3D tv...which means I can rationalize buying a new one, before it would choose weather to turn on or not and when to start and play the movie...

It has more features than I can use but that's a good thing...I recommend this player but make sure you pick up an HDMI cable a little disapointed on the top of the line name is very slow loading but after that seems to play ok no better than cheapies I have had...It's a bit tempermental at times, but overall works well...
