WOW, just amazing sound and looks, I can see why it was once 499.00 when it was first introduced, it was well worth the money then and even better at 112.00. You will not get better sounding speakers than this folks, not even if you spend double or triple ...

Within the first minute I could tell the difference between this and my old center. There were details that just plain didn't come through on my old one. This one handles bassy voices much better as well. Great speaker, but its size caused me to rearrange everything on my stand, its huge.

I mean this thing has got rubber surrounds, poly cones of a good build and stiffness, and to my biggest suprise its got a 1" aluminum dome tweeter...The mids were very tight and precise and the highs are probably as good as my paradigms are...When I played music and used the surround modes on my reciever this speaker even had good midbass depth...

Question about Yamaha NS-C444 center to match the Soavo-1 Fronts. - Audioholics Home...
Then I ordered the NS-C444 Center, I don't really care too much about matching finish, but how about sound matching...Would the NS-C444 matches my Soavo-1 fronts...I think you are missing my point...If you must get the NS-C444 I suggest that you continue to use the Soavos for home theater with that center...Otherwise you are going to be spending $600-700 on speakers that are below par, when you could spend an extra $100-200 and just get the Soavo 900c, which AH store has for $799 with free shipping...
